Man charged for terror financing, says doesn't recognize Singapore law

Reports suggest that he is first Singapore man charged with terror financing. The man has been identified as  36-year-old Imran Kassim, who is said to have confessed to transferring funds to support the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. While the Singaporean Imran Kassim has been found guilty of financing terrorism, the man himself told court that he had not break any law as he did not recognise Singapore law and only recognised Shariah law.
