At a time when Chhattisgarh state of India is concerned with the detection of first such Coronavirus case, the All India Bank Officers Confederation state unit has written to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel that banking hours in state be restricted to 2 pm to prevent community transmission of the Coronavirus menace. The letter has been written by Y Gopal Krishna, the General Secretary of the confederation, citing the fact that banks have now become vulnerable place where the COVID19 pandemic could spread as the customers footfall is substantial in these places.
