Crop Loans worth Rs. 135 crore of 9448 farmers of Agar-Malwa distt. waived
Chief Minister performs Bhumi-Pujan and dedicated works costing Rs. 865 crore
The Chief Minister while addressing a programme of Jai Kisan Fasal Wrin Maafi Yojana at Agar-Malwa district headquarters, said that in the last 14 months a big change has come in the agriculture sector in the state. The state government has give a substantial proof of its honest intention by waiving the loans of more than 21 lakh farmers under the first phase of the Jai Kisan Fasal Wrin Maafi Yojana. Shri Kamal Nath informed that crop loans worth about Rs. 135 crore of 9448 farmers of Agar-Malwa district have been waived under the third phase of the scheme. In the programme, the Chief Minister distributed loan waiver certificates to the farmers Faffu Bai, Dharmraj, Meharban Singh, Pratap Singh, Ramdayal, Hiralal, Joralal and Tilak Singh.
Youth and Farmers top priority of state government
The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that youth and farmers are the priority of the state government. He mentioned that today’s youth need work. We have succeeded in attracting investment in the tate to a great extent to provide employment to the youth. He further stated that the state government has also taken an effective initiative to ensure reasonable prices to the farmers for their produce. The Chief Minister said that he will bring a revolution in the agriculture sector soon. Shri Kamal Nath said that a new history of development will be written in Agar-Malwa district.
Food processing unit to be set up in Agar-Malwa soon
The Chief Minister on the demand of the MLA Shri Rana Vikram Singh, announced that a food processing unit will be set up in Agar-Malwa district at the earliest. He said that we have a culture to keep people united. Unity in diversity is the identity of our country. He said that apart from India, there is no country in the world where there are different religions, languages ??and festivals. Shri Kamal Nath said that we have to protect our culture and history.
‘Har Ghar Nal-Jal Yojana’ worth Rs. 604 crore
The Chief Minister performed Bhumi-Pujan of Har Ghar Nal-Jal Yojana worth Rs. 604 crore for providing drinking water in rural areas of Agar-Malwa district. The Chief Minister performed Bhumi-Pujan and dedicated development works costing total Rs. 865 crore in Agar-Malwa district. This includes Bhumi –Pujan of works costing Rs. 686 crores and dedicated works worth Rs. 179 crore. It also includes a scheme ‘Har Ghar Nal-Jal’ worth Rs. 604 crores to supply water in rural areas of the district. Agar-Malwa is the first district of the state, for which such a big amount has been sanctioned for Nal-Jal Yojana.
Compensation of Rs. 150 crore distributed to heavy rain affected farmers
The District In-Charge and Minister for Urban Administration and Housing Shri Jaivardhan Singh said that the welfare works done in the state in the last 14 months are more than the works done in the state in the last 15 years. He informed that a compensation amount of Rs. 150 crore has been distributed to the farmers affected by the excess rainfall in Agar-Malwa district. Shri Singh said that 30 modern Gou-Shalas have been set up in the district. In the coming days, 50 more new Gou-Shalas will be established.
Agar-Malwa district to be developed on the lines of Chhindwara
The Minister for Public Health Engineering Shri Sukhdev Panse said that water will be brought from Kundaliya Dam and supplied through taps to each house of 480 villages of Agar-Malwa district after treatment. He informed that the tender process of the work has been completed and this scheme will be completed within the next 3 years.
The Programme was also addressed by the Minister for Farmers’ Welfare and Agriculture Development Shri Sachin Yadav, Minister for Water Resources Shri Hukum Singh Karada, Minister for Public Relations Shri P.C. Sharma, Minister for Higher Education Shri Jeetu Patwari and Minister for Energy Shri Priyavrat Singh. The MLA Shri Kunal Chowdhary, other public representatives, distinguished citizens, farmers and villagers in large number were present at the programme.
Dedicates Newly-Constructed Joint Collectorate Building
The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath on his first visit to the district, dedicated the newly-constructed Joint Collectorate Building costing Rs. 21 crore at the district headquarters.
Performs Puja-Archana at Baba Baijnath Mahadev Mandir
During his first visit to the Agar-Malwa district, the Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath performed Bhumi-Pujan at Agar located Baba Baijnath Mahadev Mandir. He prayed for the progress and prosperity of the state and its people. Shri Kamal Nath said that development works worth Rs. 5 crore will be done in Mandir campus.
