Former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader P Chidambaram tweeted to ask 'why a bottle of water (the so called mineral water) sold for Rs 60 by the concessionaire at the Pune airport?'. He then added to the social media post that 'there is a solution. Airports Authority of India should install a vending machine that will dispense water and other soft drinks. Price of a bottle of water can be brought down to Rs 25'. To this the Pune Airport responded that they 'have provided one outlet each in ARR and DEP to cater to economy segment. Tea, coffee and bottled water are available at these outlets at Rs 25, 30 and 10 respectively'.
