Industrialist Anand Mahindra took to social media to point out that 'just one look at his physique & you know this man is capable of extraordinary athletic feats'. He was reacting to a media report that Karnataka's Srinivasa Gowda Stuns World By Running 100m In 9.55 Seconds in a buffalo race. Mahindra said that 'now either Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju provides him training as a 100m sprinter or we get Kambala to become an Olympic event. Either way, we want a gold medal for Srinivasa!' To this post, Sports Authority of India conveyed that they have reached out to Srinivasa Gowda and booked his train ticket. 'He will be in SAI's Bangalore center on Monday where our coaches will assess him. We hope to identify and nurture more talents with inputs from all sports enthusiasts', said the Sports Authority of India (SAI) which was established as a Society by the GOI in 1984 to achieve excellence in sports across the country.
